Tiwi Islands Basketball Series 2023-24

CLINIC 1

We are excited to be brining BOUNCE to the Islands. Based on feedback from community, there is significant interest in Basketball, particularly among school aged people and young adults, and to date has been little in the way of organised Basketball activity. So as part of our Remote Schools Program funded by the NT Government, we are launching our Basketball Series.

Teaming up with Basketball NT their will be 2 Clinics run in 2023, which will form the foundation for a Competition Series in 2024.

Basketball NT, with the assistance or our Sport and Rec. crew with will be running their first Clinic from 18 - 22 September, visiting each of the 3 communities. Clinic 1 will see a mix of game skills and rules training, fun Aussie Hoops sessions and 3x3 & 5x5 games, at the schools during school hours, and for the wider community after school hours.
